Japan holds a special place in both of our hearts.

Timmy had just returned from Japan when we started dating, so this trip feels a bit like coming full circle. He can’t wait to show Catya the places he fell in love with, run through the streets and trails of Japan again, and share the creativity that has inspired his love for video game design. For Catya, this trip is also a long-awaited dream! Her textile design study abroad to Japan was cancelled during her senior year at SCAD, so she is counting down the days until she can finally experience Japan’s rich textile traditions firsthand (especially a few indigo dyeing workshops!).

We’re so excited to experience the beauty of a different culture, extend love to the people we meet, and begin our marriage with so much wonder!
